Butterfly Summer 2025

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were once again able to support children with serious diagnoses and their families in attending the specialized summer camp “Taureņu Vasara” (Butterfly Summer), organized for many years by the team at the charity Palidzesim.lv.

The camp is known for its warm, supportive atmosphere and close connection with every family — a value that Palīdzēsim.lv has upheld for years. For many children, the camp opens a window to a new world. For parents, it is a rare moment of rest and relief in their constant care journey.

The days were filled with creative workshops, expert advice, meaningful conversations, active outdoor fun, and plenty of joy — from fishing and foam parties to forest hikes and a heartwarming talent show.

Children gained new confidence, skills and memories, while parents found time to connect, recharge and feel supported by a community that understands.

Volunteers also took home unforgettable experiences and insights.
